HySpec 25 Silicone (310ml)

HY-SPEC 25 is a highly elastic hybrid sealant for use where movement occurs, especially between dissimilar materials such as; uPVC, aluminium, composite and timber frames sealed into masonry, brick or plaster walls.

Low modulus
Highly elastic, low modulus sealant tested to ISO 11600 25 LM and conforms to CE Mark EN15651-1:F-EXT-INT-CC: CLASS 25LM. Specifically designed for where movement occurs, especially between dissimilar materials such as perimeter sealing of uPVC frames and meets the requirements of BS 8213-4 for the installation of windows and doors.

Paintability
HY-SPEC® 25 can be over-painted with water-based paints and wood stains.

Suitable for interior and exterior use
Weather and UV resistant, will not shrink or crack. Excellent adhesion to most materials, even in damp conditions.

Excellent tooling & application properties
Properties described by multiple time served NVQ skilled sealant applicator professionals were “very positive indeed” the sealant is “excellent to gun out with good tooling properties”.

Uses
Sealing of construction joints; equally suited to sealing of many internal and external joints in the building envelope / façade and connection joints where a paintable elastic sealant may be required.
