The Simplex Cord Plug holds the sash cord knot in place inside the sash box, it is easily removed to allow the Simplex Window System to operate.

Waxed sash cord 8mm, maximum weight cord can take is 132kg.  Waxed cord is the most common traditional cord used.

Pre-stretched nylon cord for sash windows 6mm in diameter.  Pre stretched means it won’t stretch when the weights are hung on it meaning no further adjustment required.    Maximum weight 120kg.

A lead weight in a traditional sash window is used to counter-balance the weight of a sliding sash in a sash window and thus hold it in position at any height.

Lead weights can be either square or round and come in a variety of sizes. Lead can be substituted with square steel which we can acquire if required.
